Our Precision Eye Tracker Systems PET350 (diagnostics) and PET450 (clinic) take balance diagnostics to a new level, both technically and with their wealth of detailed improvements.
The high-speed cameras operate at 250 to 500 frames per second, providing unsurpassed clarity in saccades. Eye tracking and head movement analysis are performed with the utmost precision within the glasses, not on the PC. Completed position data is transferred to the PC via a LAN interface. This completely eliminates any potential for image processing corruption caused by Windows or USB driver issues.
Our PETs show in many details what is possible today.
The eye rest fits firmly yet gently into the eye socket. This prevents the glasses from slipping during the head impulse test while providing maximum comfort.
By the way, these eye pads are made of silicone and are therefore easily disinfectable!
The cameras are above the eyes and therefore do not interfere with storage.
Pupil centration is done entirely digitally: with the mouse on the screen! You won't find any fragile mechanics on these glasses.
The headband can be clipped into the fixed temples on either side. The use of unsightly Velcro fasteners is a thing of the past. And fitting video glasses to patients has never been easier.
