VertiGuard: Posturography and balance training

New studies 2021
In the first quarter, two studies again confirmed the technological leadership of our VertiGuard . Mobile posturography (as opposed to testing while standing on force transducer plates) is a prerequisite for the first study. The effectiveness of vibrotactile neurofeedback therapy was also impressively confirmed again.
A static sound source can improve postural stability during walking
Posturographic methods have previously assumed that body coordination is maintained by vision, proprioception, and the vestibular system. This new study now shows that spatial hearing also plays a role! This is particularly evident during walking and demonstrates once again that posturography while standing on slabs is no longer appropriate.
This study from Spain once again demonstrates the effectiveness of balance therapy with vibriotactile neurofeedback using the VertiGuard system. It outperforms significantly more expensive systems! Read more about the success in preventing falls in the above study involving 40 patients.
Early treatment of balance problems helps to reduce the often serious falls that occur, especially among older people!
