HASE is a screening test for children between the ages of 4 and 7. Its goal is to identify children with speech or written language acquisition disorders. It contains four well-founded task groups: sentence repetition, number sequence repetition, word family recognition, and artificial word repetition. Predictive validity was determined on over 1,000 children at the end of the third grade of primary school. RATZ indices between 39 and 72 indicate HASE as the currently most prognostically valid method in this area. Percentile ranks and T-scores are available at half-year levels for children aged 4 to 7.
