MAUS is a screening instrument used to identify children with a high probability of having an auditory processing disorder (APD). The sensitivity of MAUS is approximately 96%, and norms are available for children aged 6 to 11 years. Additional pediatric audiological test combinations are required for the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of APD.
