Hearing test with time-compressed speech for children

Ten word groups with five different compression levels from 350 to 600 syllables per minute for 5-, 6-, and 7-year-old children. The sentences contain simple instructions for play actions, which the children are to follow precisely. Older or very cooperative children can also repeat, but the child's ability to reproduce speech is not important. Norm values are available for 5-, 6-, and 7-year-old children.

Mission: Testing of auditory processing and perception, especially in cases of suspected lesions of the primary auditory cortex, brainstem and nucleus reticularis.
