Würzburg Children's Test Parts I, II, III and IV

Four word tests were constructed according to the vocabulary of the different age groups:

1. An easy two-syllable test for 1- to 2-year-olds (Test I)
2. A monosyllabic test for 3- to 4-year-olds (Test II)
3. A monosyllabic test for 5- to 8-year-olds (Test III)
4. A two-syllable test for 3- to 8-year-olds (Test IV)

For this purpose, 25% of the words were taken from the Mainz or Göttingen language test and 75% of the words were newly selected from 10 current children's books of the corresponding age and grouped together in a phonetically balanced manner.
